Hello Lovely Readers, While on holiday, I thought a lot about where I wanted to take this newsletter, and the following is closer to a style I would describe as fictionalized personal history. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments, if you have a few moments.
Very funny with touches of pathos and nice literary flourishes! I recently re-read *The Castle of Otranto*, so it’s fresh in my mouldy mind. This piece also has echoes of *Northanger Abbey*… for me, anyway.
I haven't read the Castle of Otranto for about 15 years, so I may be a bit off here, but think I may add it to my bedside reading pile for a refresh. Aah, Northanger Abbey, yes! Good times, good times :))). Again, best read and not experienced.
